A sample collection of logos created over the last two decades. Different styles and levels of complexity, but all with the same purposeful approach to designing a mark that is geometric, bold, and iconic.

When former Hasbro designer Bobby Vala approached me to design the logo for his new toy company, Valaverse, and I couldn’t have been more excited.
2019
When former Hasbro designer Bobby Vala approached me to design the logo for his new toy company, Valaverse, I thought I couldn’t possibly be more excited for a design project. Well, I was wrong. Because immediately after that project wrapped, Bobby enlisted me to design the logo for his very first toy line: Action Force! I was actually shaking with adrenaline at this point.
For those unfamiliar, G.I. Joe was branded as Action Force in Europe for much of the 1980’s. If you know me, or even take a look around this site, it’s easily apparent how much passion and love I have for G.I. Joe. It absolutely defined my childhood and was the catalyst for me choosing a creative path in life.
If ever there was a dream project, this was it.
2014
Logo, colorway, and secondary marks for the re-launch of a fan site based on the popular 80's cartoon and toy line: M.A.S.K.
2012
Logo for Buffalo-based photographer Nate Benson.
Nate's instructions were simple: “Keep it black & white and make it iconic.”
2012
Buffalo-based animator Ryan Haynes desired a simple, strong, and geometric mark that would look right at home bolted to the side of a 1940's film projector, but with a bright color palette reminiscent of mid-century Disney films, particularly his favorite: The Jungle Book.
2016 - Current
“Somewhere in a classic, run-of-the-mill backyard, a collection of action figures assemble. Their distinctive personas painted over skillfully sculpted plastic, their arms and legs constructed with the perfect amount of articulation. These figures belong to a world all their own, one unencumbered by real-life consequences, but one that yields endless possibilities.”

2007 - 2011
Lovely Junkie was a blogging powerhouse in Buffalo, NY. It began as a fun experiment, assembling a small team of talented individuals who blogged about their specific areas of expertise, ranging from design to film-making, and from anthropology to technology.
Adopting scanned imagery from vintage magazines and found photography, the retro aesthetic was unique for its time. A successful t-shirt and poster shop helped support the blog during it's 4 year run.
2014
I was invited to participate in the 4th Round of the Old & New Project, "One Flesh"; the theme centered around love and sex in the bible.
Each artist was assigned a specific passage and tasked with interpreting it through illustration.
Prints are for sale on the official Old & New Project Storefront with all proceeds going to fund permaculture courses in Haiti.
